I’m a long time modder. I started back with Flight Simulator 2000. LOL! That was a long time ago… I had the idea to take photos of a large Bank Of America building I lived close to in the hopes of adding it into my Flight Simulator game. I even created the 3D model and everything. In the end, it was a success. From there I have been hooked to say the least. Although, I much prefer different genres of games other than flight sims now…
My favorite game to date has been The Elder Scrolls – Oblivion. I was apart of the OBGE team and tested new alpha shaders for Ethatron.
When the OBGE project slowly faded away upon Skyrim’s release, I took my experience and focus to the ENB Series forums around the time when Boris started developing what would later become a phenomenom in the PC gaming world. ENB Series for Skyrim. On those forums, I met a lot of great modders and screen archers, all of whom I highly respect and owe a debt of gratitude.
I think we all need our own little space on the internet. Far Off Mods is that space for myself.
Here I will be able to fully share my ENB configs, characters, hairs and other mods I use to create various screen archery.
I often get requests from others about various mods I use in my screenshots. I figured I could start creating an archive here
of the mods I use from time to time as a pre-disposed method of helping answer those questions. I won’t be hosting the files myself, but rather linking those files to their source download locations.
In no particular order I’d like to thank all the below whom I consider friends and excellent people. You all were kind enough to share your ideas, configurations, personal files and hard work with me. The ENB Series forums will always be a great place I will hold fond memories for. This blog is dedicated to all of them. I don’t think there would be anything to show here if it weren’t for their encouragement, input, critique and honesty.
